Eight long long trophy le s years for Arsenal fans and the question is will it become a decade for the Gunners?This season, the top three teams in the BPL have all changed their managers and surely now it is Arsenals best chance of winning a trophy since they last won something in 2005. The new managers for the clubs are David Moyes for United, Pellegrini for City and Mourinho for Chelsea. I think that Pellegrini isnt the answer for City because I think that City need to make an appointment which is for the long term and Pellegrini is 59 years old.I think that all of those managerial changes levels the playing field for the Premier League next season apart from Chelsea because they have got a great young team with a great manager who has proven himself.For a couple of months now, the Arsenal board have repeatedly stated that there is lots of money to spend and it is rumoured to be 70m. According to they have been linked with Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain for a number of weeks, but it hasnt moved any further than just rumours according to both clubs. However, Higuains father has said to the pre s that there is an agreement in place for his son to go to the Emirates. I think that this move could happen and that it would be could for all the parties.It would benefit Madrid because they would get around 25m-30m for a striker that they dont play week in week out. It would benefit Arsenal because it is a top striker who has proven himself in the Champions League and he could help the Gunners progre s to the next step up. It would also benefit Higuain because he would still be playing in the Champions League, and he would also experience the Premier League and would be challenged more often.The signing of Higuain would also show Kyle Brodziak Kids Jersey Arsenal fans that Wenger is ambitious and willing to push for the title next season. This could also attract more big names to the club and Wenger could win the BPL again and maybe even the Champions League before he retires. It could attract the likes of Rooney and Fellaini who have both been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates but these seem unlikely to want to move to the Gunners.Fellaini would much rather join David Moyes at Man United, whereas even if Rooney left Old Trafford a move to Arsenal would be a step down.However, Arsenal have failed to sign him and the longer this goes on the le s likely the move will happen. I think that Arsenal do have the money to buy great players but do great players really want to go to Arsenal. If Arsenal fail to sign at least two top players this window then I cant see how Arsenal will be able to challenge for any trophy for at least another few years. I dont see why top players would want to move to the Gunners because the last time they challenged for any trophy was the Carling Cup in 2011 when there was a mix up between Koscielny and Szczesny and Martins pounced late on to take the cup to St Andrews.Birmingham at the time were fighting relegation and there couldnt have been a realistic better opponent for the Gunners to beat to end their trophy drought.In conclusion, Arsenal have a good enough squad to make the top four next season without any new additions but they are a long way off the Manchester clubs and Chelsea. I think that a couple of world cla s players added to that squad with the squad that is already in place with Chamberlain, Wilshere and Walcott who are all young English players who have plenty of potential, Arsenal can be contenders.Another typical Wenger signings window with young French players that few people have heard of and it will be another painful season for their fans. Arsenals only signing this summer is Yaya Sanogo who is a young up and coming French player () Anton Slepyshev Jersey . Just ask yourself will he get into the Arsenal side and score 20 plus goals a season, which they so desperately need, in the league to make a challenge? I doubt it.
